O.J. and co-defendant Clarence Stewart were denied any hope of a new trial on Friday, and they will continue to face multiple kidnapping and armed robbery convictions.
Defense lawyer Brent Bryson claimed the juror foreman, Paul Connelly, was guilty of misconduct after it was discovered that he was dismissed from a previous job for alleged racial slurs. Connelly also allegedly told reporters after the conviction he thought O.J. "should have gotten life in prison" for the murder of Nicole Simpson.
The judge made it clear that defense attorneys "were not under any illusions" about Connelly's beliefs prior to the trial as she denied the motion.
Simpson and Stewart currently face possible life sentences.

Take a look at this video -- shot hours before the acquitted murderer/killer/convicted robber got the final word from the jury.

Oh by the way, he also played football.

One attorney for the Goldman family is speaking out about O.J. Simpson's 12 guilty verdicts -- and he isn't holding back his dislike for the Juice.

David J. Cook tells TMZ, "Finders keepers, losers weepers. Going to that Las Vegas hotel room was a very bad idea. Robbing those two snookes was a worse idea. But going to jail for beating Fred Goldman out of a payment for the wrongful death judgment ... priceless."
Cook takes one last dig at O.J. saying, "The road to justice runs from Brentwood and ends in Las Vegas." Ouch.

Thirteen years to the day after OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder, he had the book thrown at him -- Simpson has been convicted on 12 criminal counts, including kidnapping, armed robbery and burglary. He faces life in prison.
Simpson has been remanded into custody -- which means he's in jail.
The Las Vegas jury delivered its verdict just before 11:00 PM PT.
Simpson and his co-defendant -- also found guilty on all counts -- confronted a memorabilia collector in a Las Vegas hotel to get Simpson's stuff back, with the help of a gun.

Pop quiz: OJ Simpson in a big Chevy SUV on the highway. What do you do? Drop a dime, of course.
And that's what happened today in Nevada: Simpson was on his way for the kickoff of his kidnapping/armed robbery trial in Vegas, when someone called 911, believing OJ was juiced.
The cops responded, pulled him over, but found no evidence he was sloshed. They did find a single black glove.

O.J. Simpson just can't lay low. The Juice is back -- and this time he's playing the victim.

Simpson was in -- no joke -- Fargo, ND when he spilled his guts to Don Haney of Mighty 790 radio yesterday. His foot is gonna need to be surgically removed from his mouth one of these days.

According to a memorabilia dealer's upcoming book, O.J. spilled the juicy details of what happened on the night Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered.
Mike Gilbert claims that O.J. had smoked pot, took a sleeping pill and was drinking beer when Simpson told him he didn't bring a knife to his ex-wife's apartment on June 12, 1994 -- and that, "If she hadn't opened that door with a knife in her hand ... she'd still be alive."
Gilbert also claims he helped Simpson avoid the murder charges by telling him how to bloat his hands so they wouldn't fit in the infamous Isotoners, according to the AP.
Simpson's current lawyer said that none of the claims are true and that Gilbert is "a delusional drug addict who needs money."

Donald Trump might be thinking about taking a stab at bringing O.J. Simpson in for the next season of "Celebrity Apprentice," but NBC wants nothing to do with it. Can you blame 'em?
A source close to the Peacock tells TMZ that NBC has not -- and never was -- considering casting O.J. on the show.
Looks like instead of "You're fired!" the Juice will just have to settle for "You're guilty!"

O.J. Simpson is looking to use his sharp fashion sense, cutting wit and killer instincts for a new purpose -- joining the cast of "The Apprentice."
TMZ spoke to sources close to the show who say Simpson approached Donald Trump's camp to voice his want for a spot on the program -- and, surprisingly, it's "under thoughtful consideration."
The show may soon be known for a different kind of backstabbing.

For those of you waiting to relive the 1994 glory days of an O.J. Simpson trial, you're going to have to wait a little longer.
A judge today ruled that O.J. will stand trial on armed robbery and kidnapping charges in September. The late date was a request of O.J.'s attorneys, but the judge did not agree throw the charges out (like that was happening) and did not rule on whether or not O.J. will be tried separately or with his co-defendants, Charles Ehrlich and Clarence "C.J." Stewart.

OJ Simpson's legal troubles have turned into a cash register for a member of his former posse.
We've learned Thomas Riccio, the sports memorabilia dealer who may have double-dealt and orchestrated the confrontation that led to robbery charges, has made a book deal. The book, titled "Busted," is Riccio's sleaze-a-zoid account of what went down in the Vegas hotel room and all the stuff before and after.
Riccio's making a nice living off O.J.'s latest heist. We know he was paid $70,000 during his "media tour" following the arrest, in return for mentioning a website called clips4sale.com during his shameless appearances.
And, of course, Riccio peddled the audiotape of the hotel confrontation to ... oh yeah, us.
His book is due out in April. We're thinkin' he'll probably ask for donations before page 40.

The man who allegedly had his memorabilia stolen at gunpoint by O.J. Simpson and friends has filed a lawsuit claiming the whole thing was pre-planned so the tape could be sold to ... well, us.

In a lawsuit filed today in Orange County Superior Court, Alfred Beardsley alleges he was lured to the now infamous Las Vegas hotel room meeting under false pretenses by Thomas Riccio. Beardsley claims Riccio made him believe he could sell the stuff to the owner of a large software company. According to the suit, at the same time, Riccio was lying to Simpson and fueling his anger.
Why, you ask, would Riccio try to get Simpson angry? According to the suit, Riccio planned all along to secretly audiotape the confrontation in the hotel room and then peddle it to the media.
Voila! TMZ purchased the tapes, publishing them on our website and airing the audio on TMZ TV.
Beardsley is suing Riccio for invasion of privacy, fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress and unjust enrichment. He is asking for unspecified damages.

TMZ has confirmed with Miami police that O.J. Simpson's girlfriend, Christy Prody, suffered bruises and head injuries on Monday -- but it was because of a fall -- and not at the hand of the Juice.
The National Enquirer reported that O.J. was being investigated after Prody was taken to a Miami hospital with head trauma and bruising.
But cops tell TMZ that her injuries are "consistent" with a fall she took at a gas station, that they don't consider this a criminal case, and that O.J. was never a suspect.
O.J. is due in Las Vegas for his robbery case in April.
Story developing ...

When O.J. Simpson was booked into Clark County Jail for violating the terms of his probation last month, a crew from the MyNetworkTV show "Jail" was there to film it.
The video shows O.J. being booked and posing for his mugshot. At one point, an officer even asks the Juice, "So how's everything going ... besides the obvious?"
